FASHION DESIGN

Designing clothing has been a great way for me to blend my love for art and engineering. The construction of clothes is a manufacturing process in itself and the creative options with fashion design are boundless. This year I started taking commissions for pieces and I also began altering my friend’s clothes. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed making custom clothing and I will continue doing so either as a job or a passion project for the rest of my life. My most recent project ended up on the NYFW runway - I think it’s amazing how you can be doodling on shoes one minute and get press photos of them in action the next day.
